But the view from the Manhattan Bridge would be a lot better if we could get that prison corridor chain link fence removed from the bike & ped paths. Even if some high fence is needed, and I don’t think one really is, there are better designs that allow more vision at shallow angles. The chain link looks like a wall when you look forward and back – you can only see directly to the side.
